In the summer Chatel turns itself into a lush green valley with activities for everyone.

For the outgoing - White water rafting, water skiing on Lake Geneva and para-gilding



For leisure seekers a large heated swimming pool in the centre of Chatel, Tennis, Horse riding and obviously all those huge mountain walks that are on offer.

Walk through the game reserves opposite the hotel, discover the local wild life of Deer, Stag, Mamottes and many others. A stay at Le Renard offers something for everyone.

SPECIAL EVENTS DURING THE SUMMER
Every year on Lake Geneva, at the town of Montreaux there is the Jazz festival . Two weeks of famous bands in 2 concert halls(July).
Nearer Geneva a large music festival at Nyon, called the Paelo is also held outside at the end of July.

The only one in the Alps, fly on two cables at 60mph for 2400m, there’s nothing faster like this unbelievable sensation.

For the more relaxed person: Bowling, Fishing, Gentle walking through the forests, Swimming, Archery, Golf and of course, the traditional French game of Pétanque (French bowls).
Just a little distance away you can White water raft or try Hydro speed, Canyoning and Canoeing.

A little further, on Lake Geneva there is sailing, water-skiing. Or take a trip around the lake on one of the many paddle steamers to the other side into Switzerland.
