| Rob is first and foremost
a chef. He has been in Chatel now for 18 years and trained as a chef
in England, France and Switzerland and then spent several years perfecting
his art as a chef in Burgundy servicing the wealthy US tourist industry.
The food he offers at Le Renard is a combination
of French restaurant classic dishes and local specialities. There
is a set menu on offer - Menu du Jour: a four course meal for only
21.50€. There is also an extensive à la Carte menu and
a selection of seasonal suggestions. Children are very welcome at
Le Renard and there is a separate children's menu at 10.00€.
Special occasions include Christmas Dinner &
New Year's Eve (advance booking is absolutely necessary) when a
special menu is available. Le Renard also offers speciality evenings
