For skiers Le Renard
is ideally situated 600 meters from the bottom of one of the main ski
areas, with new high speed chair lifts taking you up into the vast domain
of the Portes du Soleil. With the latest snow
making equipment, Piste Bashers and Security services no wonder Chatel is
in the top 15 Ski stations in France. If you have never been
here before you will wonder why on earth not. For the snow boarders we are
just next to the Mecca of snowboarding, in France there are the huge snow
parks of Avoriaz and in Switzerland, Les Crosets offers equally the same
expanse. Here in Chatel however,
for the ultimate experience at Super Chatel there are half-pipes,
boarder-cross runs, jumping rails etc . Off piste areas open up
even more wonderful skiing terraine, you can get qualified guides to take
you even further a field whilst being completely safe. Heli skiing can be
arranged, which is based in the close by Swiss and Italian mountain,
mountain hiking for the really fit. |
